Why Our Training Matters
Adaptive teaching is at the heart of inclusive practice. Schools are increasingly expected to demonstrate how they tailor their teaching to meet a wide range of needs, yet many teachers still feel unsure where to begin.
One of the unique approaches we use involves the characters from Winnie the Pooh — helping staff recognise different learner profiles in their class and how they interact. As Abigail often says, “You’ve got to look after your Pooh before your Roo.” It’s a lighthearted yet powerful way to understand how adaptive teaching brings the whole class together.
